  The PMA of West Michigan has established high standards of ethical conduct for all doing business in the apartment industry and strives to create, advance, and maintain good public relations between the apartment industry and the general public. The Property Management Association of West Michigan is affiliated with the National Apartment Association. As the Legislative Affairs Chair, I was responsible for building relationships with legislators, monitoring issues affecting the industry and planning and promoting legislative receptions.

  National Spokesperson advocating for the population of returning wounded veterans who were severely wounded in the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Severely Wounded Veterans of the Wars on Terror struggle every day to overcome life-changing sacrifices such as the loss of a limb, significant burns, and the reality of long-term physical and emotional side-effects of combat. The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes was created to provide a way for individuals, corporations and others to support our troops by helping severely wounded and disabled Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans and their families rebuild their lives.

  Before starting my career in Property Management and Investment Real Estate, I served in the United States Marine Corps infantry. Throughout four years of active duty service including two combat tours in Iraq, I was ingrained with the battle hardened skills of discipline, diligence, leadership, and commitment. After being severely wounded during an ambush in Iraq, I was awarded the Purple Heart decoration by Commander in Chief, President George W. Bush. In 2005, I was medically retired from the United States Marine Corps for the combat injuries I sustained in Iraq. Performed and executed strenuous leadership responsibilities while leading U.S. Marines in combat operations during two tours served in Iraq under intense hostile conditions including heavy direct and indirect enemy fire, IED's, and enemy attacks.
